New year special drama! Lucky7 SP!

On December 19, Arashi’s Matsumoto Jun made an appearance on the pre-screening event for Fuji TV’s upcoming special drama “Lucky Seven Special.”

This is a special drama of “Lucky Seven” that aired from January to March of this year on the ‘Getsu 9′ time slot. It received an average audience rating of 15.6% (in Kanto region according to Video Research). Reportedly, there will be some furious action scenes just like the drama series, and Matsumoto commented about this saying, “It was hard. I’m not that strong, you know.”

Regarding a reunion with other cast members, Matsumoto said, “We were talking at the closing party that it would be great if we could get together again, but I never expected it to be this soon.” He also revealed that there was a new discovery during the filming about his co-star Matsushima Nanako who played as his boss in the drama. He said, “Unexpectedly, Matsushima-san has a sweet tooth. Though she has the cool and ‘iron lady’ image, I saw her eating quite big Baumkuchen.”

As reported earlier, adding to the regular cast members, actress Ishihara Satomi will also appear in the special drama as an enchantress. This will be the first time in about 10 years for Matsumoto and Ishihara to co-star with each other since they last appeared in the TBS drama “Kimi wa Pet” back in 2003. Matsumoto also made a comment about Ishihara, “She has arrived at womanhood. She is an actress with impressive eyes.”

When asked about his plans for Christmas, he said, “I will be honest.” that caused a silence among audience, and continued, “I have to work! Starting at 9 in the morning. I’m being honest for my night schedule as well. I will work until 7:30, and then will attend a dinner meeting starting at 8.”

“Lucky Seven Special” will air on January 3rd at 9:00 pm on Fuji TV.

Aiba new Winter's dorama, "Last Hope"

On October 31st, Fuji TV announced that one of their upcoming winter dramas will be a medical drama titled ‘Last Hope‘ starring Aiba Masaki from the popular group Arashi.

Fuji TV describes ‘Last Hope’ as a human medical suspense drama. The story revolves around a medical team with completely different individuals, whether it’s their age, their gender, their achievements or their field of specialization. While aiming to become the forefront of advanced medical care, those individuals grows as a team and face their hidden pasts.

Aiba will play the protagonist, an internist who possess a great power of imagination and is able imagine the pain of the patients, which causes him to become very close to them. He can read and understand the emotions of each patient just by checking their heartbeat through his stethoscope. On the other hand he is also a person who tends to do things at his own pace and never misses his mid-afternoon snack at 3:00 pm. He is also burdened with a secret in his past that he has yet to find out himself.

Speaking of cutting-edge medical research, the director of the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application at the Kyoto University, Yamanaka Shinya, was recently awarded with the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for his discovery that mature cells can be converted to stem cells. On the day of the drama announcement, he also received the Order of Culture.

Aiba, who will be taking on his first role as a doctor with this drama, commented excitedly, “It’s a drama about a group of individuals that make use of cutting-edge medical care similar to what earned Professor Yamanaka the Nobel Prize! I can’t believe I’m playing a doctor!”

The supporting cast is made up of actress Tabe Mikako as a cool and dry doctor from the emergency room, actor Tanabe Seiichi as a gifted and presumptuous surgeon who loves women, and actorKohinata Fumiyo as an ambitious specialist for advanced medical care. Additional characters are played by Kitamura Yukiya, Sakuraba Nanami, Takashima Masahiro, and Hirata Mitsuru.

Fuji TV will be airing ‘Last Hope’ every Tuesday at 9:00 pm.

Sho-chan is busy this month.. ganbate Sho-niichan...

I willl telling you about Sho-chan tonight. 

He will busy this month.

        first, he will shooting for his new movie, Nazotoki wa diner no ato de the movie. he take a shoot in Singapore, in star cruse. the famous ship. and then he will be a main caster in Olympic London, then he should back to japan to take a shoot for routine schedules (arashi ni shiyagare, himitsu no arashi-chan, VS arashi) and then, he should prepare for 24hours TV in August. 

        if I can talk to him directly, i will say to him, : "don't forget to eat the appropriate meal an vitamins for your body, to stabilizing ur health and your work. i know you will forget to get a meal while you in busiest schedules. but please think about you health." (~,~)

        oh ya, one event that i haven't update, Ara Fest, that is concert in kokuritsu, and arashi will concert without any back dancer. so of course they should have alot of prepare for the best concert.

      I never imagine yet how busy they are, specially Sho. and I'm sure all of members of arashi will give 100% supports for Sakurai sho.

Sakurai Sho will be the main caster in Olympic 2012

Again, The 3rd time Sakurai Sho will be the main caster Olympics London 2012.

"It’s been revealed that Arashi’s Sakurai Sho will be NTV’s main caster for the upcoming London Olympics.

This will be Sakurai’s third time to serve as the main caster for the Olympics. His first time was Beijing in 2008, then Vancouver in 2010. Sakurai is scheduled to report live from London from the opening day, July 27th.

He expressed, “After experiencing my first ‘Olympics’ in Beijing, I got to deliver reports with my feelings of a lot of emotion and excitement. To be able to deliver the Olympics once again as a main caster, I feel very honored.“

Sakurai has been gathering data to prepare himself for the Olympics, but he’s especially interested in swimmer Kitajima Kosuke. “4 years ago, Kitagawa eyes were glistening, and he looked like he was full of competitiveness. Right now, I feel his commitment to analyze himself by overlooking ‘his bad period’. As someone who’s born in the same year (1982) as him, I have high hopes for him,” he said."

As know guys, Arashi will be MC-ing, maybe its main guest for sure, for the third times in 2012.
they started to be main guest in 24 hour tv in 2004, the unforgettable part is when Aiba was read his letter for his friend in Arashi and he said apologies because he couldn't be the best for them, he mentioned that they should backing up his job while he was in recover after operation.  He also said thanks for each of them.

Ninomiya Kazunari to star in “24Hour Television” drama special

It was revealed that Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari will be starring in “Kuruma Isu de Boku wa Sora wo Tobu” which will air as a drama special on NTV’s annual charity telethon, “24Hour Television.“

Ninomiya will play a man who is confined to a wheelchair and can never walk on his own for the rest of his life.  He was a delinquent since junior high school, and he became paralyzed on the lower half of his body after some trouble with a punk.  Reportedly, Ninomiya dyed his hair to blond to match with the role.

As announced previously, Arashi has been chosen as the main personality for this year’s “24Hour Television” which will mark the third time for them to be the main personality for the program.

“24Hour Television 35 ‘Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu’” will be broadcasted on August 25th ~ 26th.

Prior to joining Johnny & Associates, Aiba watched a program called Love Love SMAP (愛ラブSMAP Ai Rabu SMAP) and saw SMAP playing basketball on television. Wanting to play basketball with them, he sent in the application to join the talent agency himself, without exactly knowing what the agency specialized in until the day of auditions. Aiba became a Johnny's Jr. in August 1996 at the age of 13.

-He is a huge Miyake Ken fan
-He has a huge obsession with basketball. He saw Johnny's idols (SMAP) playing basketball on the TV "I Love SMAP", and thought that he'd get to play basketball with them if he joined. After asking some female classmates for their advice, he sent an application to join. It was not until he was asked to audition did Aiba realize Johnny's Jimusho trained young boys to dance and sing.

-Once he tried going into hotspring bath when he was really really sleepy. He slept halfway through and nearly drowned, fortunately his family members saved him in the end. 
-Everyone agrees that it is impossible for Aiba to accomplish two things at the same time. 
-After he starts drinking, he would start taking off his shirt and run around. Sho mentioned about it before. 
-Aiba loves to bounce around during concerts and often commits mistakes in his choreography. 
-He loves animals and claims to have the ability to "speak to them."

Matsumoto was born in Toshima, Tokyo, as the youngest child in his family. He has an older sister whose support of KinKi Kids influenced his decision to join Johnny & Associates in 1996. Thinking it might bode good luck, he sent his application to the agency on his elementary school graduation day and received a phone call weeks later from president Johnny Kitagawa himself, inviting him to attend a rehearsal instead of being auditioned. Due to this, Matsumoto is frequently referred to as one of the elite within the agency.

Matsumoto graduated from Horikoshi Gakuen, a renowned high school known for its many performing arts alumnae such as Kyoko Fukadaand Ai Kato, in March 2002 at the age of 18.

Ninomiya was born in Katsushika, Tokyo as the youngest child of his family. His father and mother were both working as chefs when they met and his sister is two years older than he is. His parents divorced early in his life and his father left the family soon after. When Ninomiya was born, his grandfather immediately came home and named him the heir to the family's windshield factory since he was his grandfather's only grandson. However, when Ninomiya was twelve years old, his cousin sent in an application to Johnny & Associates without his knowledge.After attending and passing the auditions due to his mother's prodding, he joined the talent agency.
